ZATCA invites Establishments subject to Withholding Tax to submit Returns by August 10

Riyadh August 06 2023:

Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has called on establishments subject to withholding tax in the Kingdom to submit their tax returns for the month of July, no later than August 10.

The authority urged its taxpayers to quickly submit their tax returns through its website in order to avoid a fine for failing to pay within the specified period, at the rate of 1% of the unpaid tax for every thirty days of delay from the due date.

The withholding tax is one of the tax systems in force in the Kingdom that is deducted from the total income of a non-resident establishment in the Kingdom, in consideration of the services it provides inside the Kingdom, according to the percentages specified in Article Sixty-Three of the Income Tax Regulations.
